SUMMER COMMUNITY CAMP OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY

AT CAMP KOLOONA , Monday 29th Dec. '08 – Saturday 3rd Jan. 2009 

The “ River of Life ” is a theme inspired by both biographical storytelling and the venue for this year. In the past we've held many successful community camps at Koloona by the Shoalhaven River via Nowra, and now we are returning there.

The Good News Is : We've got 6 days and 5 nights at Camp Koloona to be a residential Community of spiritual seekers, sometimes lost, sometimes found, in transit on our life's path !

The Challenge is : start preparing now for the theme, put the dates in your diary, prepare for heart-warming community growing holydays.

There will be T ime to create community together, to settle into the rhythm of life at camp and to explore the themes, to enjoy the river and country environment, and each other. We will workshop the theme, sing and dance and play games, rest and talk, swim and walk, cook delicious meals together and cater for each other, share our lives as individuals and families as well as having time to ourselves.

We have vacancies for workshop leaders, cooks, people to set-up and do the final camp check, activity leaders etc . Volunteer, the response will be ‘yes!'.

The start and close of each day will be celebrated with Services as part of the 12 Holy Nights of Christmas concluding with The Service for Children on Saturday.

Camp Fees : Note: These include all accommodation, food and activities. Children 6 years and under are offered a special fee. Donations above the recommended amount would be gratefully received as the fees are close to cost. Concessions will be given on request.
